Characters...... Are they over rated?!?
Soooooo Many people impersonate famous people... Liza Minnelli, Cher, Barbara Streisand, Tina Turner, Joan Rivers...ect ! Do you think that impersonation of famous people is overdone?, over rated?, Limits a persons creativity?, Too old school?
I personally LOVE someone who can do a character and look, act, and take on that whole persona of that celeb. , HOWEVER:) I do think that it should be an act .. one of many . I dont feel its entertaining after you see an entertainer do the same character OVER and OVER again .. it gets old!:) Simply because it is just over done ... but if someone can pull off a character of a famous person and still have their perona , I LOVE IT!
Please tell us your thoughts.......

Hello Everyone This Is Blaize!!!
I dont really get into doing characters...however I've been told I do a fierce "Annie Lennox".....I have recently been working on doing "Prince" ...this is very unique and what is so Ironic about this is I have followed the mans career ever since I was 6 years old! This Idea came to me when I was in the dressing room one night and many people approached me and was like your face structure is very "Prince" and people said I have them bed room eyes like "Prince" from that point I've been working on placing him in my act!!

Alot of people say that I look like Paris Hilton .. although I can kinda see where people would say that .. I still just dont see it fully myself..Iv also been told I should try and work out Faith Hill and also Celion Dion..

I'm working at a bar as a Cher impersonator. At first it was fun, but after a few weeks I've grown to hate it. It so takes away from a persons creativity. I don't think that characters are overrated, just over done. If you can truly pull off a character then go for it. But only do it once every few months. It really gets old and people get tired off seeing it. I'm not doing Cher this weekend. YAY I'm doing Marilyn Manson. It's still a character, because that's what we've been advertising here recently and it has been pulling a crowd. But it something different. And soon with any luck, I'll be able to be Demitrya again and believe me I can't wait for that. And Trinity, I can so see you do Celine Dion, I think that would be hot to death!!!!!
