Seeing how all of birminghams rising stars can not be in the pageant I do not see how you can ask who will when but maybe who should win. Don't get me wrong I wish all the girls that are allowed in the pageant good look and I'm sure that all of you will do great. However, count your blissings win you have that crown on your head and look around and tell me the one performer who was not allowed to be in the pageant that should of been!?!

True to whom ever wrote that the one Entertainer thats not allowed in the pageant should be able to be in the pageant .. And im 99% sure who you are talking about.. and she would be competition, but whos to say that she would be the winner ... now im not sayN she couldnt win but whos to say she would.. because alot of girls are getN ready and a few of the girls have the talent, drive, or PACKAGE that you need to win, all Im sayN is dont count your ducks before they are in a row! When the time come the entertainer your talking about will be in a pageant soon enough... and they will either prove your point or they wont! Good luck to whom ever is in the pageant and Im very sorry for the entertainer thats not allowed.. its not fair but still no one needs to say they are winners until they have won!

Trinity, obSINity, Madison, Patience, Amaya, Michelle, and Arzella.
I think SIN or Amaya or Michelle for Presentation
Madison or Trinity for evening gown
Patience, Arzella, or obsinity for question and answer.
Trinity or Patience for Talent

I do not think that the person who made the first comment did not imply that she should or would win but only that she would have been a very good competitor. Birmingham has a lot of rising star's and no matter who wins there will still be more than one rising star here in birmingham. Atlanta and Nashville are known for some of the top entertainers in the drag community and I think that the next generation of top drag queens will come from Birmingham. When I get to go to a show I am impressed by how much talent birmingham as and how far all of the new performers have come. Most of you are better than some of the speacial guest that come here. Not that they are not good but entertainment wise I think girls here in birmingham are the best and I can not wait to watch ALL OF YOU on your way to the top.

First just let me say that I am just that. Confused. I don't see how you can be voting on who will win what category when the contestants have not been announced. Unless there is some information the public is not being let in on?? How is it that you know of someone that is not being allowed to be in the contest? How is it you are able to post that you are in it (I'm speaking of your schedule)? How can you post in your diary who will be the top three girls? If this contest is truly based solely on who gets the most votes to be in it, how can people know who is in it, and how can someone be disqualified if they have not broken one of the rules set forth in the beginning (IE not have won a prelim to a national title etc.)? Maybe it's just me, but this is all sounding a little fishy. I do hope that this contest has been set up for the right reasons, that these guideline rules will be adheared to, and that whoever the best entertainer is wins. Otherwise if people have already been chosen, or disqualified for some other reason that is not being made known, we in birmingham are only adding to the stereotype of other pageants around the world, and thier politicalness. Good luck to all the performers WHOEVER they may be!

to Confused, you are absolutely right about your responce .. so to clearify your confusion.. the thing about the person who is supposedly not alloyed in the pageant is still just hear say .. and from what she said to a dear friend about it ... is the only reason i said anything ! Now about voteN on who should win .. of course we dont know who is in the pageant yet and wont until friday .. im not sure that ill be in it nor am i sure of anyone that will be in it .. but i can only assume since there is only so many newcomers in bham that the best ones will prolly be in it .. no one knows who is doing what and from what i have heard the judges are going to be picked so that they have no relation WHAT SO EVER to ANY of the contestants .... so that is ganna be fair and yeh I think it should be that way... also the best over all package will win .. and i have never said that i would be in the pageant let alone win it .. I am only HopeN :) but you do have a very good point and thank you for bringN up the subject!

As a former Birmingham Girl I want to say this. Every newcomer in Bham is a rising star. Before I left Birmingham I expected to go out into a drag community far more advanced than Birmingham. I live in Dallas Texas now, and there are some amazing entertainers. But when it comes to newcomers, that's another story. There is more drive, beauty, and talent coming out of Birmingham's newcomers than I have seen anywhere else, and that's coming from some big cities. Everyone needs to be proud of themselves for how far they have gotten. I read the list of the finalists for Bham rising star and it seems very accurate. So girls don't get your panties in a twist b/c there is always next year. For most people, they don't get involved in pageants until they've been performing for at least a few years. Be patient, it will happen. A new generation of entertainers is coming, and I see a lot of them coming from Birmingham. Lastly, I want to recognize they professionals in birmingham. Including Racquel, Chivonne, and Jordan, even though she's in Nashville now. I've never met entertainers so grounded and so helpful. I don't know where I'd be right now if I hadn't had the help of those three entertainers, and for that I am thankful, and everyone else should be too. I also want to recognize my sister while I'm at it, that skinny bitch. I love her, and miss her, she's my best friend, my brother, my sister, and has helped me through some very hard times.
